Hi my angels!! Meeting you’ll every week with a new blog is so much fun ❤ Infact I eagerly wait to come up with something with which everyone can relate! In India most of the people especially the ones in teaching professional prefer to wear salwar or kurta due to dress code restrictions! Hence wearing leggings every time might sound boring and monotonous. Palazzo can be a very good alternative to leggings without having to compromise on both comfort and dressing norms!
Why palazzo ???
Palazzo come in different styles, designs and fabric in the market. You can find them right from lycra material to cotton ones. The lycra ones have a good fall whereas the cotton ones give a flary appearance! Comfortwise both are super light and loose which makes the outfit breathable!
The best part is you can mix and match to create different looks with these pants! Here’s how I mixed my palazzo with a kameez from a different salwar kameez set to create all together a new outfit. You can check out some for some cool palazzos options here!!
Styling palazzo 👗
I chose a bright cotton pink palazzo and coordinated it with a white embroidered kameez, I decided to skip my dupatta as i wanted a simple semicasual look!
You can choose even a short kurti here, depending on your choice. The best part of palazzo is that they suit any body types irrespective of whether you have a lighter or heavier lower body!
One thing to keep in my here is, Incase you have a heavier lower body opt for a cotton palazzo and incase you are leaner then opt for lycra material! There’s no hard and fast rule when it comes to styling a palazzo pant! You can go with your choice of kurta , kameez or even a Shirt dress to create a cocktail look!
Accessorizing the look 💍👛
Coming to accessories, boho or tribal jewellery goes really well with palazzo but incase you are not fond of these then you can even style them using delicate jewellery! I chose oxidised bangles and jumkas with pearls to match my kameez!Coming to your shoes, if you are on little heavier side then wearing a palazzo would make you look short and stout so always prefer to add heels to them. But if you are on a normal side with a lean body and good height , then even juttis would work well for you!
I chose my dressberry tan heels with this look since they are perfect to match with my palazzo! Along with that I carried a white pearl clutch to add more ethnicity to the look!
As I already mentioned earlier there is no hard and fast rule for styling palazzo hence you can play around with accessories depending on what type of look you desire!
So I guess I’ve summed up most of the details on this look. I wanted to keep this blog short hence I wouldn’t go into more briefing.
I hope you’ll loved reading this blog. I’m personally a big fan of Indian outfits since its something close to my culture and hence exploring Indian styles gives me immense happiness!
