Set the bar high with cape style Anarkali!!
Hey beauties!! Hope you’ll are doing fab 😉
I missed getting connected with you’ll with my last weekend blog due to a family wedding! Honestly speaking I felt like I was majorly missing something. Writing blogs and connecting every weekend with you’ll through them has been an indispensable part of my routine! Anyways now that I’m back, I’m super duper excited to bring this one for you’ll! In continuation with my Indian look series, here’s a blog on cape style anarkali. I’m sure you guys gonna love this one. ❤
Well, as I just mentioned to you I’ve been attending a family wedding last week with my family. This was one of the outfit I chose to parade in during one of those events. 😁
About the dress :
For those of you’ll who are heedless of what cape style anarkali is here’s a small elucidation! Basically its an anarkali salwar with a dupatta attached to the dress which gives an appearance of a cape!
Cape style anarkalis have been trending off lately and comes in different styles and patterns. The cape gives kinda chic debonair look to the dress and also you can move freely without having to worry about the dupatta slipping off your shoulders 😉
Taking summers into consideration, I chose pastel colors since I wanted to keep it fresh yet colorful 😍 So lets get started quickly with the outfit deets!
Coming to the fabric the top of this dress is made of light georgette see through material which needed an inner lining, the bottoms are made from raw silk mix cotton fabric and the cape is made from net with intricate embroidery detailing on the edges.
Not to forget here, the top part has a sequenced portion towards the bust which kinda lifts the cape look too! Being an anarkali, the dress is floor length, the best part is, its quite light except for a bit of weight on the cape which is due to embroidered edges!
All about styling :
Now let’s move on to styling part, I kept the whole look kinda subtle yet little ethnic with loads of bangles and chandelier earrings and my fav, nose ring 😍
I styled it with this contrast color hand bag which I picked up from Bali, Indonesia! Trust me ladies, this bag is super cute! It added so much colours to my outfit without having to accessorize the look much! Not just that its cute, but can also accommodate most of basic make up stuffs like lipsticks, compact powder and so on which are a must for Indian weddings !!
Coming to shoes I wore, I chose nude color block heels from dressberry! They are my absolute best loved favourites 😍 Super comfortable and perfect for our ceaseless Indian wedding functions 😉
Flaunting cape style anarkali :
Now let’s come to the events where you can flaunt this look , being more on ethic side this types of cape style anarkali dresses are perfect for Indian functions like haldi, mehendi, sangeet and so on!!
Also you can choose to wear it on Indian festivals like diwali, bhaidooj, lohri and so on… The list is never ending 😄
So the next time you are planning to attend any Indian functions don’t forget to try out this type of outfit and be in lime light 😉
