Ethnic wear styling tricks every girl should know!

Hola my angels! Hope you’ll are doing awesome as always In India summer’s being a wedding season I’m sure most of you’ll might be gearing up for your friend’s or family weddings. With that being said, this blog is all about ethnic outfits styling tips and tricks that would definitely turn heads for the event.  Without further delay let’s just quickly start with the blog !

Ethnic wear fabric selection based on the season

First thing first! Your outfit for the event should not just be pretty and stylish but comfortable too. For instance wearing a velvet fabric in summers makes no sense as it would make you feel more hot and ultimately uneasy.

Like wise wearing cotton based outfits in winters would not provide you the required warmth and again making you uncomfortable in the same. So make sure you choose your outfit fabric and style that’s apt for the season. Best choice for summer weddings would be a nice floral ethnic gown or a light weight lehenga or a saree. Accessorising your ethnic wear!

Overcrowding your outfit with loads of jewellery or accessories would make you look either too tacky or over dressed for the occasion. Try to keep the look simple yet elegant. Busier outfits should be paired with simpler jewellery like statement earrings or finger rings that do not clash with your dress.

Similarly simpler outfits can be clubbed with heavier accessories like a kundan Jewellery set or anything that matches your dress. Also if your not much of a jewellery person than you can skip wearing a neckpiece and just throw in some distinct chandelier earrings and you are good to go.

Matching handbags with outfits.

You can even call them as an accessory with your outfit but for me personally they are my mini makeup vanity that I carry along no matter what! You clutch should not only match your outfit but should also be big enough to carry your basic stuff like makeup touchups, tissues, some band aids (especially when you are wearing new shoes), and so on.. Golden clutch would be the safest bet with ethnic wear as they match almost any kind of ethnic outfit.

Makeup that lasts long

When it comes to ethnic wear you cannot just go with some basic makeup and say you are ready for the event. Ethnic outfits always needs that little extra effort when it comes to makeup. I definitely donot recommend you to apply everything you got in your makeup vanity all at one go, but a little bit of makeup doesn’t hurt either. Doing a little bit of eye makeup lifts the whole look but make sure you keep your lipstick light/nude when you highlight your eyes!

Same way keep your eye makeup subtle when you are wearing dark vibrant shades of lipsticks. Also use high end products if possible as their staying power is great and would not make your face look cakey after a couple of hours. Makeup fixing spray is also a crucial part of your makeup game when attending Wedding events. Also you can check out these hairstyles that would go well with ethnic wear.
