Mix and match wonders to your rescue !!
Hi my loves ❤❤
Hope march treated you well apart from the scorching heat and harsh sun ☀
Well that’s how summers are meant to be!! And that reminds me to ask you’ll about my last summer #OOTDS blog that was specially curated for you’ll to give some serious summer fashion goals!
Hope you’ll have read it!! If you haven’t than your missing something really interesting gal!! Do chegggg it out but right after you finish reading this blog 😉
To begin with, from the heading I’m sure you’ll must have guessed what’s this blog is all bout!!
Mix and match is something that has worked for me during most of my “nothing new to wear” days!! Mixing and matching things not just saves your money but if done correctly can add a whole new definition to your style statement!
Mix and match is a saviour for your last min events as well as last min goof ups with your outfits 😃
So here’s a short blog with two looks that I created using a lehenga blouse to create all together two new outfits without having to shell out extra bucks on buying a new one 😊
Lets get started! Look no 1 is something very close to a lehenga saree that I created using a very simple basic cotton saree with a fresh color to add some vibrant quotient to the whole look !! Here’s the first pic from this blog!!
Used this lehenga blouse instead of a typical short saree blouse to sort of create a chic indo western look !! Coming to draping part I’ve drapped the saree in a normal Gujarati style except for the pallu instead of pinning it up I’ve left it loose over my hand!
Minimal accessories was my go with this outfit! You can style yourself accordingly depending on the type of function where you are flaunting this look. You can try out this style with any kinda fabric from chiffon to georgette, trust me this look won’t let you down!
Perfect for occasions like sangeet, mehendi, or any other traditional functions on never ending indian wedding list or even festive functions like diwali etc !!
The next look yet again has an indo western touch to it but trust me strutting in this one will definitely turn heads not just of the guys but girls as well 😃
Same old blouse but this time I’ve paired it with a palazzo pants 💚 and to add a little bit of ethnic touch to the whole look I’ve used a embellished blingy dupatta made from net fabric. I’ve styled this look with chandelier earrings and a pair of green and beige stilettos to add a bit of glamour to it !!
For those who have watched the movie mujhse dosti karoge, this look would somewhat remind you of Rani Mukharjee’s look in the song saanwali si ek ladki 😉😉
Well that was my inspiration behind this look 😄
Yet again this look is perfect for sangeet, mehendi, cocktail party or even a casual function If u minus the dupatta from it !
